A static dissipative  powder coating, ECP 534 is based on a carboxylated polyester resin modified with epoxies.  Designed where the user requires electrostatic dissipative properties in addition to a superior decorative finish, e.g. static safe work benches, racks , trolleys etc..  It offers excellent flow, toughness and good chemical resistance.  A range of substrates may be coated.

A thermosetting powder coating based on selected solid polyester resins crosslinked with an epoxy curing system.

Specific Gravity – 1.90 g/cm3 .

Coverage – From 10 – 14 m2/kg at 60 microns film thickness.

Curing Schedule

Normal Cure:

6 minutes at 200ºC (Object Temperature)

10 minutes at 180°C (Object Temperature)

20 minutes at 160°C (Object Temperature)

Note:  to achieve matt finishes, the high temperature schedule is generally required.

Technical Properties

General

All tests carried out on degreased zinc-phosphated steel coated at 70mm and cured at 10 minute @ 180°C object temperature.
