The paint is a single component, air-drying, Carbon/Acrylic Coating. The paint is formulated to apply to most plastic substrates.
APPLICATIONS
Designed for static dissipating applications.
Applications include electronics handling equipment, boxes, instrument covers.
The coating meets the requirements for the handling of static sensitive devices according to BS-EN 61340.
Applications such as components and instruments which need to comply with ATEX requirements, for hazardous environments.

METHOD OF USE
Surface Preparation: All contaminants including mould release, grease and dirt must be removed. A suitable primer may be necessary on certain substrates, e.g. Polypropylene.
Mixing: Some settling may occur in the can, so care must be taken to mix in all solids. Should any dilution be necessary, use ECP 502/JSF024/Thinner
Application: ECP 531 can be applied either by a conventional spray-gun (40 psi line pressure), or by brush coating.
Availability: ECP 531 is packaged in 1 litre and 5 litre cans.
PRECAUTIONS
Highly Flammable Flash Point 25°C. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Keep all containers closed when not in use.
Use Under Well-Ventilated Conditions Personal respiratory protection should be worn under spraying conditions. Such devices must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Avoid Contact With Skin: Wear protective gloves and clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after use. If accidentally swallowed, seek medical advice.
Storage: Place in a warm room (Frost free) and make sure lid is secure
Shelf Life: Shelf life 12 months from date of sale, but must be stored correctly
