TBA Protective Solutions new conductive water based epoxy coating, ECP 526 Extra, has been developed with enhanced anti slip properties for floor coatings in hazardous areas.

Environmentally friendly, the paint is low odour and can be applied by virtually any method, including spraying.  Unlike other non slip paints, ECP 526 Extra is made without traditional additives giving an aesthetically appealing silky matt finish with good resistance to a wide range of chemicals including oils, fats, solvents, acids and alkalis.

As the electrical properties of the paint are permanent and independent of humidity, an additional conductive underlay is not required for grounding, giving the option to directly ground racking or shelving used for storing electro static sensitive devices to the floor.

Supplied in a light grey colour, the coating is best applied by means of a spray gun to harness the full potential of the anti-slip properties.  When sprayed and applied consistently, the paint gives a wet Pendulum Test Value (PVT) of 55, surpassing the UK HSE’s recommended minimum wet PVT value of 36.
