TBA PS’ FloorShield static conductive floor tiles provide an easy to install ESD safe flooring solution.
The basic product is an interlocking tile 500 x 500 x 7mm that can be dry laid over any hard surface with minimal or no surface preparation ensuring quick and trouble free installation even on damaged, damp or contaminated substrates.
The tiles are suitable for areas that experience high levels of vehicular traffic such as forklifts, also impact, abrasion or vibration damage and solvent or chemical spills.
Their interlocking design allows tiles to be added or removed to suit changing requirements or maintenance needs. Ramp and corner sections are available to eliminate trip hazards and facilitate the movement of heavy traffic.
Several types of tile are available, the standard conductive tile is manufactured from ECP 104 black conductive PP, ECP 2200 SD PP and ECP 12E ss fibre masterbatch providing a cost effective route to compliance with BS EN 61340-5-1:2016, particularly when used in conjunction with the rest of the TBA PS Electro Static Protection product range.
The enhanced tile is manufactured from ECP 2200 colourable static dissipative polypropylene and ECP 12E provides a superior static elimination flooring system. The combination of a permanently static dissipative polymer with a highly conductive fibre produces a highly efficient method of static elimination and grounding.
Grounding of a tiled area can be achieved with ECP 1440 grounding products and ECP 1490 grounding strips or FloorShield 526X conductive floor paint or FloorShield HP ESP conductive sealer, hardener, densifier.
