FortaTherm Weld-Safe 1200 flexible treated glass high temperature resistant fabric.
Heat-Resistant:
• Weld-Safe withstands penetration from an oxygen enriched flame at temperatures in excess of 1500°C for short term use and temperatures of 1000°C for more than two hours.
Molten Metal Resistance:
• Large metal droplets up to 70 grams and weld spatter can be successfully contained and allowed to cool on the fabric surface without penetration.
Abrasion Resistance:
• Weld-Safe has as much as 10 times the abrasion resistance of a silica cloth of similar weight and density. Its effectiveness is not reduced by rough handling.
Flexibility:
• Weld-Safe has been treated to create a soft, flexible fabric that is easy to handle during use.
