A conductive elastomeric gasket material for moulding and extrusion applications. Based on silicone elastomer and nickel graphite particulate fillers. The formulation is chosen to provide good galvanic compatibility within the joint and optimum shielding performance.
Low cost filled silicone compound, based on Nickel Graphite – exhibits good electrical and thermal conductivities. It also has very good broadband shielding effectiveness, particularly at low frequencies, and has good EMP resistance.
Silicone offers excellent performance over a wide temperature range with a good resistance to chemicals and weathering. Its resistance to mineral based fluids is limits but it has a good splash contact resistance to most mineral oils and grease.
